Apprentice Early Years Educator

About the role

Twinkle Totz Day Nursery is seeking an Apprentice Early Years Educator to join their team. This role involves working closely with children aged 0-5 years old, supporting their daily needs, and contributing to the Early Years Foundation Stage. The apprentice will plan and provide age-appropriate play opportunities, ensure the safeguarding and welfare of children, and act as a key person to allocated children and their families. Responsibilities also include observing and assessing children's learning progress, maintaining a positive and enabling environment, and building strong relationships with parents and carers. Adherence to setting policies, maintaining health and safety standards, and attending training events are also key aspects of the role. The apprenticeship leads to a Level 3 qualification and offers the possibility of ongoing employment upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

• Desired / GCSE / English / C / 4+. Desired / GCSE / Maths / C / 4+. Previous experience of working with children and ideally have the Childcare Level 2 qualification.
