Apprentice Early Years Educator

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Early Years Educator at Twinkle Totz Day Nursery in Maidenhead. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and eager to gain a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. Previous experience with children and ideally a Level 2 Childcare qualification are preferred. The apprentice will be involved in all aspects of childcare for children aged 0-5, including feeding, hygiene, and planning age-appropriate activities. Key responsibilities include ensuring child safeguarding and welfare, acting as a key person to allocated children, observing and assessing learning, providing an enabling environment, building positive relationships with parents, adhering to nursery policies, attending team meetings and training, and liaising with external agencies as needed. This apprenticeship offers the potential for ongoing employment upon successful completion of the qualification.

Entry requirements

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above are desired. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, and number skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also be logical, a team player, creative, possess initiative, be non-judgemental, and patient.
