About the role
Twinkle Totz Day Nursery is seeking an Apprentice Early Years Educator to join their team. This role involves working with children aged 0-5, supporting their daily needs, and contributing to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The apprentice will plan and provide age-appropriate play opportunities, ensure the safeguarding and welfare of children, and act as a key person for allocated children and families. Responsibilities include observing, assessing, and recording children's learning progress, creating an enabling environment, and building positive relationships with parents. The role also requires adhering to nursery policies, maintaining confidentiality, attending team meetings and training, and liaising with external agencies as needed. Previous experience working with children is desired, ideally with a Childcare Level 2 qualification. The apprenticeship leads to a Level 3 qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or above (desired). Previous experience working with children is ideal.
