Nursery Nurse Apprentice

About the role

Immediate start for a Level 3 Childcare apprentice to join a small and friendly busy nursery in Prestwich. You will be involved in planning and delivering high-quality care to children and maintaining high standards, on completion of a successful DBS. A Level 2 qualification in Early Years is required to apply.

Duties include carrying out activities with children, planning activities to meet their needs, observing children in their play, ensuring all children reach their full potential, and ensuring children are happy and thriving in a caring environment. Safeguarding children is a key responsibility.

On completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for a full-time position. The training will be an Early Years Educator Level 3 Standard, involving work-based learning with college attendance one day a month.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths C/4 or above or equivalent.
