About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn whilst having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, and supporting children's self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and adherence to safeguarding rules and health and hygiene requirements. Successful completion leads to a Level 3 practitioner qualification with potential for permanent employment and further career progression into roles like social work, teaching, or management. The Cradle Nursery aims to provide a happy, safe, and stimulating 'home away from home' environment for children.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English at grade 4, GCSE Maths at grade 4. Strong communication, organisation, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are essential.
