About the role
TARGET NEL CIC is seeking an Educational Support Apprentice to join their unique child-centred education program for learners who don't thrive in traditional settings. As a Teaching Assistant apprentice, you will support Key Stage 2, 3, and 4 students through project-based learning, promoting discipline and positive behavior. The role involves working across various local sites, supporting literacy, numeracy, practical skills, and safeguarding. This is a term-time only position requiring reliability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently. A driving license and access to transport are advantageous. The apprenticeship includes comprehensive training in areas such as safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and health and safety, with opportunities for career progression within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Entry requirements
- GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths. Excellent communication, IT, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. A driving license is desirable.
