About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Trainee Data Technician at Highfield School. You will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of data within the iSAMS Management Information System, working closely with the IT Department, academic staff, and leadership. Full training will be provided, focusing on precision, system curiosity, and rapid software learning. Key duties include maintaining pupil, parent, and staff records, providing support for iSAMS queries, assisting with annual rollover processes, generating reports, supporting system integrations, ensuring data protection compliance, and assisting with admissions data entry. You will also undertake Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship training and coursework. Additional requirements include excellent communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills, alongside initiative, patience, and confidence with MS Office.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above. Desired: GCSE Business at grade 4, A Level Computing at grade C.
