About the role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship in a GEO outreach department at a full-service marketing agency. The apprentice will focus on strengthening and protecting the backlink profiles of client websites, a crucial element for search engine and AI tool recommendations. Responsibilities include researching relevant websites, writing outreach emails, assisting in content creation for link earning, monitoring backlink profiles, tidying local citations, maintaining an outreach tracker, and reporting on link acquisition and its impact. The apprentice will also learn about the wider marketing toolkit including SEO, content, paid media, and social, through apprenticeship modules and team collaboration. The role emphasizes white-hat practices and ethical link building. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time position and further career opportunities.

Entry requirements

  • Curious, organised and personable, enjoys writing, comfortable reaching out to people, wants to build a career in marketing. Functional Skills in maths and/or English may be required.
