Childcare Apprenticeship - Maidenhead

About the role

Twinkle Totz Day Nursery in Maidenhead is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Nursery Assistant Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to study towards an Early Years Educator qualification at Level 3. The role involves working closely with children aged 0-5, supporting their daily needs, planning and providing age-appropriate play opportunities, ensuring safeguarding and welfare, and building positive relationships with parents and carers. The apprentice will also be responsible for observing and assessing children's learning and development, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and participating in team meetings and training.

Key duties include feeding, nappy changing, toileting, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing an enabling environment, acting as a key person, and adhering to setting policies. The apprenticeship is for 1 year and 6 months, with the possibility of a full-time role upon successful completion. Previous experience working with children and ideally a Childcare Level 2 qualification are preferred.

Entry requirements

• Previous experience of working with children and ideally have the Childcare Level 2 qualification.
