About the role

This is a Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship opportunity at The Gatwick School, hosted by INSPIRE ATA LIMITED. The role involves supporting a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis, working closely with the class teacher and SENCo. Duties include providing tailored support in class and small groups, assisting with learning plans, delivering interventions, supporting behaviour management, preparing learning materials, monitoring pupil progress, and offering pastoral support. The apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and skills development in education. Training is provided within the school setting with no college attendance required, including online learning modules and monthly webinars. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a permanent Teaching Assistant role and further progression to a Level 5 apprenticeship.
