About the role
As an Apprentice Floorlayer, you will gain hands-on experience installing various flooring products including carpets, vinyl, and luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) alongside experienced professionals. This role requires no prior experience, focusing instead on a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Key duties include preparing floors, measuring spaces, installing different flooring types, using specialist tools safely, handling materials, and providing excellent customer service. You will also attend apprenticeship training, complete coursework, and follow all health and safety procedures. An interest in construction, home improvement, or interior design is beneficial, as is a willingness to travel and a UK driving licence (or a commitment to learn to drive).
