Level 3 IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience supporting the Academy's IT systems, helping to maintain a secure and efficient digital learning environment for staff and students. Duties include operating the IT helpdesk system, carrying out routine IT tasks, providing support for IT hardware, software, network, and operating system problems, assisting in the installation and maintenance of IT hardware, supporting teachers and pupils in classrooms, providing ICT technical support for Academy events, supporting the use of online learning systems and platforms, and assisting with the support and maintenance of ICT technical requirements. All staff are expected to promote and support the Christian character of the Academy, understand the concept of in loco parentis, take responsibility for their own professional development, and follow Trust policies related to keeping children safe in education.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4-9 (A*-C). Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Number skills, Team working.
