Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing excellent activities that ensure children learn whilst having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparation of food, and supporting children's self-help needs. You will also be expected to be creative, enthusiastic, follow safeguarding rules, and undertake first aid and other relevant training as required. A Level 2 in Childcare (Early Years Practitioner) qualification is required for this nursery. Upon completion, you will develop into a level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or managerial positions.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Communication skills, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential. A Level 2 in Childcare (Early Years Practitioner) qualification is also required.
