About the role

An 18-month IT Support Apprenticeship with VIRTUAL I T LTD, based in Sompting, Lancing. This apprenticeship aims to equip you with the necessary skills and experience to transition into a full-time technical role, either on the remote help desk or in the field. The program includes a structured progression from administrative and hardware support within the Customer Service Team to providing administrative and remote support to a growing customer base as part of the 1st Line Team. You will gain practical experience in build rooms, field tasks, and helpdesk operations, with the expectation of resolving a significant percentage of incidents independently. The role requires strong customer care, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive and adaptable attitude. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. Strong customer care, communication, IT skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, team working, initiative, and a can-do attitude are essential. Awareness of IT Hardware, Windows Operating Systems, and Microsoft 365 is also required.
