About the role

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people? Oasis Academy Oldham are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while working towards a qualification.

Duties include providing support for class teachers, assisting students with their educational and social development, contributing to the day-to-day running of the Academy, organising interventions, promoting student well-being and safeguarding, and supervising students during unstructured times. The role also involves contributing to the Academy's vision, values, and positive culture.

Essential requirements include GCSE Maths and English (A-C or equivalent). Key skills needed are communication, attention to detail, analytical and logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and initiative. Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is mandatory.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential for a permanent role and opportunities for higher-level teaching assistant apprenticeships. Oasis Oldham is a vibrant and inclusive learning community dedicated to providing outstanding education.
