About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant at Oasis Foundry, supporting children with special educational needs. You will assist teachers in providing tailored support to pupils, both individually and in small groups, ensuring their safety, welfare, and access to learning. Key duties include building rapport with pupils, supporting the implementation of individual education plans, promoting pupil inclusion and self-esteem, and providing feedback on progress. You will also assist teachers with lesson preparation, resource management, and maintaining a positive learning environment. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, initiative, and patience. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent role and further higher-level apprenticeships.
