About the role

This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to join Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council as an Apprentice Roadworker. You will be part of a team assisting in highway maintenance and construction, working towards developing essential skills. The role involves operating, maintaining, and securing highway maintenance equipment, as well as erecting and dismantling street furniture. You will also contribute to the security of buildings and facilities and assist in record keeping. This is a hands-on role that will provide comprehensive training and guidance to ensure all works are carried out to the required standards and timescales. The apprenticeship includes day release to a college setting for formal training.
