About the role
Emperor Flooring Northeast Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Floor Layer to join their specialist team. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in preparing work areas, assisting with floor covering installation, and working with various flooring materials like safety vinyl, carpet, and LVT. Apprentices will learn from experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and work towards a recognised qualification. The role involves preparing subfloors, measuring and cutting materials, and maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard. A strong emphasis is placed on health and safety procedures and professional conduct. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time role.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Language/Literature Grade 4-9 and GCSE Maths Grade 4-9. Essential skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, presentation, teamwork, initiative, physical fitness, and professional conduct.
