About the role
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will support primary-aged children with mental health and additional needs to overcome barriers and re-engage with education. You will support their social, emotional and behavioural development and help deliver learning activities tailored to their individual needs. Duties include delivering bespoke learning timetables, supporting children's development through consistent routines, and participating in daily staff and parent debriefs. You will also be responsible for ensuring child safety and adhering to safeguarding policies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the organization's growth and ethos.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English A-C or 4-9. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, analytical, logical, team-working, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness are essential.
