About the role
This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for individuals with some prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing engaging activities to support children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, and assisting with food preparation. Apprentices will also focus on supporting children's self-help needs, adhering to safeguarding policies, and undertaking necessary training, including First Aid. Upon successful completion, apprentices will be qualified as Level 3 practitioners with potential for permanent employment and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication skills, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, and patience.
