About the role
Brenzett CEP School is seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate Early Years Apprentice to join their new nursery team. The role involves supporting children's development in a warm, secure, and inclusive environment, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing progress, and ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to safeguarding, a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, and a caring, child-centred approach. Experience with Tapestry and Bromcom, as well as Paediatric First Aid, are desirable. This apprenticeship offers ongoing training, clear career progression opportunities within an exciting new nursery, and a supportive team environment. The school is a beautiful, rural primary school committed to pupil well-being and progress, with a strong Christian ethos.
Entry requirements
- Level 2 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent). GCSE Maths and English at A*-C or 9-4. A commitment to safeguarding, child wellbeing, a caring and enthusiastic, child-centred approach, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a genuine love for early years education are essential. Experience with Tapestry and Bromcom, and Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to train) are desirable.
