About the role
Two apprenticeships are available at Playdor Nursery School to work towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. This role offers hands-on experience within a nursery team alongside formal studies. The apprenticeship is suitable for individuals at the start of their careers or those seeking a career change. Key duties include ensuring high standards of care and development in line with the EYFS, organizing activities, supporting children's play and daily care, building positive relationships with families, and contributing to a safe and inclusive environment. Apprentices will develop an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, safeguarding, and child observation, with increasing responsibilities as their skills grow. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to nursery policies and procedures are also essential components of the role.
