Childcare Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a childcare setting, caring for children aged 0-5. You will be involved in various daily tasks, ensuring children's needs, welfare, and education are met. This includes engaging children in learning activities like numeracy and language games, singing, role-play, and storytelling. You will also liaise with parents and external customers, providing a high level of service. Key responsibilities include meeting individual child care needs such as feeding, nappy changing, and administering medicine. Upon successful completion, there is potential for career progression to a Level 3 practitioner role, with opportunities to become a Room Leader, continue professional development, or pursue roles such as an au pair or cruise ship nanny, or even springboard into primary education.
