Childcare Apprenticeship Level 3

About the role

Leapfrog Day Nursery is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Childcare Apprentices at Level 3. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with children aged 0-5, contributing to their daily care and educational development. Responsibilities include assisting with learning activities, engaging in play, and liaising with parents. The role involves all aspects of childcare, from feeding and changing to administering medicine. Successful apprentices will work towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years and a first aid qualification, with dedicated support from assessors and mentors. This is a full-time position based across two nursery settings in East and West Croydon. Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression to Level 3 practitioner, Room Leader, and further management training.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C L2) or equivalent. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience, initiative, and a non-judgemental attitude are also required.
