About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as a Childcare Apprentice at our Berryfields Day Nursery in Aylesbury. This Level 3 apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to learn how to provide outstanding early years care and education for children aged 0-5 years. You will work as part of a team to create safe and supportive learning environments, plan and implement activities to enhance children's development, and complete observations. You will also interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues, adhering to nursery routines and policies. The apprenticeship includes gaining a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, functional skills in maths and English (if required), and a paediatric first aid qualification. You will receive 'off the job' learning time and support from a dedicated childcare trainer/assessor. Mandatory group training sessions are held regularly, with travel costs covered. Upon successful completion, you will be offered a permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Nurse.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English grade 4/C and Maths grade 4/C. Strong communication, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, and patience are desired.
