About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as a Childcare Apprentice (Level 3) at our Pennypot Day Nursery in Chobham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in early years education and care, working with children aged 0-5 years. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting children's development, interacting positively with children, parents, and colleagues, and adhering to nursery policies. You will also manage your time effectively to meet coursework deadlines. The apprenticeship includes valuable on-the-job training, 'off the job' learning time, regular support from an in-house trainer/assessor, and mandatory group training sessions. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, potentially functional skills in maths and English, and a paediatric first aid qualification. A permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Nurse is offered, with opportunities for career progression to Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager roles.

Entry requirements

  • Desired / GCSE / English / 4. Desired / GCSE / maths / 4. Communication skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience. Resident in the UK for at least 3 years. Comfortable travelling to training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
