About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as an apprentice at their Maples Day Nursery in Winchester and contribute to creating fun and supportive learning environments. You will work with children aged 0-5, plan activities to enhance their development, and complete observations linked to the early years curriculum. This role requires positive interaction with children, colleagues, and parents, adherence to nursery policies, and effective time management for coursework submission. The apprenticeship leads to a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, functional skills in maths and English (if needed), and a paediatric first aid qualification. Successful completion offers a permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Nurse, with potential progression to Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager roles. Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Ability to evidence NI number and right to work in the UK, photographic ID, access to a computer, resident in the UK for at least 3 years, and comfortable travelling to training sessions.
