About the role

Relish School Food is seeking a motivated IT Data Technician Apprentice to join their expanding team in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business, working alongside experienced professionals. The role involves supporting the everyday maintenance and operation of the Relish IT systems, which are crucial for busy school kitchens. Key responsibilities include 1st line support, security monitoring, data storage monitoring and cleansing, data archiving, reporting, and data analysis. You will also be involved in monitoring system usage, conducting functionality testing, and updating application documentation with user guides. This apprenticeship offers a chance to develop essential IT skills and contribute to a company that prides itself on delivering great food and service, supported by innovative technology.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (Grade 4/C or above) and GCSE Maths (Grade 4/C or above). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office, a 'can-do' attitude, motivation, and being tech-savvy are also required.
