About the role

Are you passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop a lifelong love of learning? This Early Years Educator Apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a primary school setting while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will support children aged 3 to 5 in their learning, development, and well-being, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging activities, encourage children's development through interaction and play, and observe and record their progress. The role involves supporting children's independence, confidence, and positive behaviour, building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and preparing learning resources. You will also support children with additional needs, uphold safeguarding policies, and contribute to the school's Catholic ethos. This apprenticeship includes training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, leading to a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard qualification. Entry requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (Level 2 equivalent) are desired. Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, and patience are essential.
