Early Years Educator Level 3

About the role

Step into a role where every day brings the chance to inspire, support, and nurture young learners aged 3+. As part of the Shine team, you’ll spark children’s curiosity through play, creativity, and active learning, while providing the care and stability they need to thrive. Duties include motivating and stimulating children's learning, providing care and support, organising resources, liaising with parents, acting as a Key Person, ensuring health and safety, complying with Ofsted requirements, and implementing Shine policies. This role also includes working during school holidays as part of our Holiday Club provision. Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required. You will be required to work across multiple settings, so you will need to be confident about using public transport, or have access to alternative means of transport consistently. For apprentices who excel and demonstrate the desirable skills and attributes, there may be the opportunity to step up to a Before/After-School Club Manager position upon completion.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above. Communication skills, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience.
