About the role
This Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with a passion for childcare and a desire to gain formal qualifications. The program offers hands-on experience in a real nursery environment, allowing apprentices to learn while they work. Key duties include building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring child wellbeing and safety, implementing safeguarding procedures, observing and supporting children's learning linked to the EYFS, and accurately recording progress and achievements. Apprentices will also learn to meet the needs of individual children, considering any disabilities, cultural backgrounds, or medical histories, and maintain high nursery standards. The role involves supporting children during mealtimes, adhering to dietary requirements. The apprenticeship provides no tuition fees, an excellent pathway into Early Years teaching, and hands-on experience across nursery and school settings, offering the opportunity to build a rewarding career shaping young children's futures.

- GCSE English grade 4 or above, communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem solving skills, number skills, team working, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, patience.
