This exciting apprenticeship gives you the chance to work alongside experienced educators in a supportive and dynamic school environment. As a SEN Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience while developing your skills, supporting pupils in their learning, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere. Duties include assisting teachers with lesson preparation, providing tailored guidance to pupils, supporting behaviour management, organising teaching materials, assisting with marking, adapting activities for all pupils, encouraging technology use, supporting parent relationships, and taking part in training. You will uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare. This apprenticeship offers potential full-time employment upon successful completion.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Grade C/4 or equivalent, GCSE Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative skills, teamwork, creativity, being non-judgmental, patient, passionate about children, calm, reliable, and committed.
