About the role

This apprenticeship will train you to become a skilled multi-trade maintenance professional. You will gain expertise in maintaining, repairing, and improving buildings across various environments. The program combines practical workshop training with hands-on workplace experience, developing your technical abilities, problem-solving skills, and safety awareness to ensure facilities remain safe and operational.

Key duties include assisting with general maintenance, cleaning and maintaining hard floor surfaces, identifying different flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods, supporting floor restoration projects, operating floor cleaning equipment, preparing work areas, loading and transporting materials, following health and safety procedures, maintaining a professional appearance, delivering excellent customer service, and completing all apprenticeship training and coursework. Upon successful completion, opportunities include progressing to Floor Cleaning Technician, Senior Floor Cleaning Technician, Floor Restoration Specialist, Team Leader, or Site Supervisor.
