About the role

KILNBRIDGE STRUCTURES LTD is offering a Groundworks Apprenticeship opportunity in Didcot, Oxfordshire. As a Groundworks Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience supporting site teams with a variety of essential groundwork activities. This includes site preparation, excavation, installing drainage and underground services, concreting, kerbing, paving, and assisting with foundations and sub-structures. You will learn to use construction tools and equipment safely and be expected to maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, always following health, safety, and environmental procedures. This is a physically demanding role predominantly carried out outdoors on construction sites, and travel to different project locations may be required. The apprenticeship standard is Level 2 Groundworker, with training delivered through a combination of on-site learning and monthly attendance at the chosen provider. Upon successful completion, there are further development opportunities in plant operations, specialist groundwork, and supervisory qualifications.
