About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career in the construction industry with a reputable local company known for delivering outstanding projects. This is a varied role where you may be required to work within our in-house factory but most of your time will be spent working on new build housing sites. Duties include participating in ongoing training, assisting in the manufacture and assembly of timber frame panels, supporting joinery activities, carrying out general labouring duties, learning to identify hazards and defects, working collaboratively with colleagues, complying with legislation and standards, maintaining accurate records, reporting progress and issues, and contributing positively to company objectives. You will adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 2 or above. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Physical fitness.
