Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice

About the role

Parkway Primary School is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils by providing essential support in the classroom. Responsibilities include preparing and tidying classrooms, assisting with the display of student work, and providing administrative support. The apprentice will also be involved in preparing pupils for learning activities, attending to personal needs, and accompanying teachers on out-of-school activities. Liaising with parents and carers under teacher direction is also part of the role, along with attending evening events outside of school hours. This apprenticeship is an excellent pathway to a career in education, with potential progression to Higher Level Teaching Assistant roles or continued employment within the school.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, presentation, administration, numerical, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
