About the role
Lift Firth Park is seeking a skilled SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their onsite Alternative Provision. The role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs through targeted interventions, planning and assessment, and building positive relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND, be a confident communicator, and possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills. A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in supporting children is required, with the opportunity to enrol in a Level 3 apprenticeship programme if qualifications are not yet held. The apprenticeship is for 2 years.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English A*-C or 4-9; Level 2 Maths and English Pass. Experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND.
