About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an ICT Support Technician within The Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust. You will gain hands-on experience providing first-line IT support to staff and students, logging and resolving issues, and assisting with hardware, software, and network problems. The role involves supporting user accounts, devices, and classroom technology. You will develop essential technical and workplace skills through a Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship delivered by TDM, including quarterly online block weeks, weekly off-the-job training, and monthly coaching sessions. Upon successful completion, there are potential opportunities for career progression within the ICT team and the wider Trust.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, IT, problem-solving, and customer care skills are essential. A genuine interest in tech/IT and knowledge of hardware/software and Microsoft Office/365 are also required.
