SEMH TA Apprentice

About the role

LIFT SCHOOLS is seeking an SEMH TA Apprentice to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role involves leading 1:1 and small group interventions, planning learning with teachers, building positive relationships with pupils, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children and young people, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be adaptable and resilient. A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience is desired, with opportunities to enrol on a Level 3 apprenticeship programme if qualifications are not yet held. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the development of students.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English: A*-C or 4-9 (Desired), Level 2 Maths and English: Pass (Desired), Communication skills, IT skills, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Initiative, Willing to learn, Ability to self-evaluate. Must have resided in the UK or EEA for 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship. Must not have already completed a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship.
