Nursery Practitioner Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Nursery Practitioner at WITTY KIDDIES NURSERIES LTD in Upper Norwood. You will be working with children aged 6 months to 5 years, supporting their development through play and structured activities. Key responsibilities include learning routines, understanding Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) stages, and adapting to new environments. You will collaborate with staff, encourage children, and create engaging, fun experiences. Duties involve cleaning areas, setting up new activities, following daily routines, and learning to plan tasks and themes. You will also gain experience in making observations and assessments of children's development. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient, non-judgemental approach.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English at grade 4 or above, GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, and logical skills are essential. Team working, creativity, initiative, and patience are also highly valued.
