About the role
Embark on a rewarding career in childcare with this L3 Early Years Apprenticeship at Headstart Nursery 2 in SOUTH OCKENDON. You will be working towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years, gaining practical experience with children aged 0-5. This 14-month apprenticeship involves creating a safe and engaging environment, teaching within EYFS requirements, supporting children's self-care, and communicating with colleagues and parents. Essential qualifications include GCSE English and Maths at grade 4. Key skills developed include communication, organization, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience. Upon completion, there are opportunities for progression to Level 3 practitioner, Room Leader, management training, or even a springboard into primary education or paediatric nursing. Training is primarily on-the-job, with dedicated assessor support and online learning for the first 8 weeks. You will also complete a paediatric first aid qualification.
