Nursery Nurse Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a childcare setting, caring for children aged 0-5. You will be working towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years, lasting for 14 months. This role requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Duties include creating a fun and safe environment, teaching within EYFS requirements, engaging in activities, supporting children's self-care, and communicating with staff and parents. You will also liaise with external customers and provide a high level of service.

Essential requirements include GCSEs in Maths & English at grade C/4 or above, or Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths & English. Key skills developed will include communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork. The apprenticeship involves 1 day of online training per week for the first 8 weeks, with a laptop/PC being essential for this. The remainder of the time will be spent in the nursery with support from an assessor and staff.

• GCSE Maths & English C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2
