About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to become a Nursery Educator Apprentice at LADYBIRD NURSERIES LIMITED in London. You will be working towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years, supporting children aged 0-5. The apprenticeship lasts for 14 months and requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Duties include creating a safe and engaging environment, teaching within EYFS requirements, participating in activities, supporting children's self-care needs, and communicating with staff and parents. Essential requirements include GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above) or Functional Skills Level 2. You'll also need strong communication, IT, and teamwork skills. A laptop/PC is essential for online training, which takes place one day a week for the first 8 weeks. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for career progression into Level 3 Practitioner roles, room leader positions, and potential full-time employment.
