About the role

Join PURPLE JAY EAST DULWICH LTD as an Early Years Educator Apprentice in London. You will work towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years over 14 months, gaining hands-on experience with children aged 0-5. Key duties include creating a safe and engaging environment, teaching within EYFS requirements, supporting children's self-care needs, and communicating effectively with staff and parents. This role requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Essential requirements include GCSE Maths & English (C/4 or above) or Level 2 Functional Skills. You'll develop crucial skills in communication, IT, attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork. This apprenticeship offers a path to becoming a Level 3 practitioner with potential for full-time employment, room leadership, or further training in primary education or pediatric nursing. You will need a laptop/PC for online training one day a week for the first 8 weeks, with the remainder of your time spent in the nursery. Upon completion, you will also receive a paediatric first aid qualification.
