About the role

Are you interested in technology and looking for an opportunity to start your career in IT? QA is recruiting on behalf of One IT Services and Solutions for an Apprentice Technical Support Engineer to join their ICT team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real IT environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification. You’ll work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting the technology used across schools and developing practical skills across IT support, networking, devices, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure. As an Apprentice Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be part of a team responsible for the delivery and support of ICT servers, networks, hardware, software and end-user technology across schools. You’ll receive support and guidance from experienced members of the team while developing your technical knowledge and confidence.

Entry requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
