Electrical Apprentice

About the role

The role purpose is to provide practical support to a qualified electrician and carry out a range of ancillary works relating to electrical installations within the Property Services team. Accountabilities include carrying out safe isolation procedures, working independently with on-site supervision, demonstrating work carried out, assisting in testing, and performing reactive and planned electrical repairs and maintenance. You will also liaise with other trades and clients, ensure tools are operated correctly, and work to achieve performance and customer satisfaction targets.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths Grade 4/C or equivalent. NVQ Level 2 Electrical Installation Pass. Working towards Electrical NVQ L3 and 18th Edition qualification are desired. Strong communication skills, knowledge of H&S legislation, commitment to E&D, commitment to learning, and a customer-focused approach are essential.
