About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career.
Duties include providing excellent activities for children's learning and fun, supporting their learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food for meals, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, undertaking First Aid and other relevant training, and ensuring health and hygiene requirements are adhered to. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, with strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, patience, and non-judgmental skills.
