About the role
Start your career with MGI as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer. Gain hands-on experience installing, servicing, and maintaining AC and refrigeration systems alongside experienced engineers. Earn while you learn, gain nationally recognised NVQ qualification/s and build a career in a skilled, in-demand trade. Duties include attending customer sites, assisting with installation, servicing, maintenance & repairs, using advanced diagnostics and tooling, safely using various tools and equipment, completing electrical and mechanical works under supervision, learning F-Gas requirements, communicating professionally, and assisting with vehicle stock management. The role involves travel, working indoors and outdoors, and potential working at height or in confined spaces. Some manual handling will be required. Applicants should be comfortable in different environments and follow health and safety procedures. A vehicle is required for the apprentice.
