Property Maintenance Operative Apprentice

About the role

AVT Services Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join their growing team, focusing on property maintenance and infrastructure installation. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience with specialist equipment, tools, and develop crucial communication and health & safety skills. Daily duties involve reporting to the project manager and working collaboratively on the installation of mobile telecoms network infrastructure across various commercial sites. This includes tasks such as concrete works, fencing installation, earthing systems, and working with steel components. The role emphasizes following all health and safety procedures, supporting experienced operatives, understanding reporting processes, and engaging in joinery, groundworks, and steel installation. The apprentice will also learn about mobile telecoms facilities management and passive infrastructure. Upon completion, progression opportunities include a Level 3 qualification or becoming a Site Supervisor, with further training and support provided by The Growth Company.
