Apprentice Early Years Practitioner

About the role

Chalfont St Peter Preschool is seeking an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner to provide high-quality early years education and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The role involves supporting children's learning, development, safety, and wellbeing within a nurturing and inclusive environment. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's progress using the Tapestry platform, identifying and supporting individual learning needs, and promoting children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development. The apprentice will also be responsible for safeguarding children, adhering to all policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. Building positive relationships with parents and carers is also a crucial aspect of the role. This apprenticeship offers potential for career progression within the setting and further training opportunities.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English Grade A-C/4-9, Desired GCSE Maths A-C/4-9. Skills in communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, administration, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are also required.
